Kompazz: Some Screenshots of KompazzVG

Posted in kompazz, kompazzvg, openmoko by Karthik Murugesan on April 15, 2008

Some screenshots of KompazzVG running various test cases related to paths and gradients from shivaVG. All the test cases run properly with almost no changes.

My thanks again to ShivaVG project for those test cases.

    Hi Karthik,

I would like to look at your code in case you have uploaded it somewhere.
Are you using OpenGL or OpenGL-ES in your project?

I was trying to port ShivaVG onto a Vincent3D OGL-ES implementation; but ran into problems since ShivaVG uses OpenGL. Any suggestions how I can proceed?

    Dear Googie,

Sorry for the delayed reply. KompazzVG is a pure software rasterization engine and is not based on OpenGL or OpenGL ES. I have not uploaded the code anywhere yet. Stuck with my fulltime work and hence not able to focus on KompazzVG fully.

Regarding porting ShivaVG to OGL-ES, I am not an OpenGL expert and I am not sure about the problems you are facing. So I am not the right person to give you some valuable suggestions. May be you can join the #openvg channel on irc.freenode.net server and discuss with the experts over there (if they are available?).
